Setup guide

Connect Bridge to Claude.

Once connected, Claude can search your Bridge contacts, read relationship activity, and check your pipeline while you chat. You approve the connection once, and you can turn it off at any time.

Access is rolling out.

Bridge's Claude connector is in private dogfood. Approved beta accounts can connect today; everyone else sees "Bridge MCP OAuth is currently in private dogfood" at sign-in. Email support@bridge-ai.social to ask for access.

Server details

Server URL
https://api.bridge-ai.social/api/v1/mcp
Transport
Streamable HTTP
Authentication
OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Sign-in and consent happen in your browser. Claude discovers everything else on its own, so you only ever paste the URL.

Add Bridge in Claude

Works the same way on claude.ai and the Claude desktop app.

Step 1

Open Connectors

In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors.
Step 2

Add a custom connector

Click "Add custom connector" and paste the server URL: https://api.bridge-ai.social/api/v1/mcp. Click Add.
Step 3

Connect and sign in

Click Connect, sign in to Bridge, and review the consent screen before you approve it.

On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner adds the connector once in Organization settings, then Connectors, then Add, then Custom (choose Web if asked). After that, each member connects it themselves from Customize, then Connectors.

Add Bridge in Claude Code

For the terminal. Run these from a project directory, not inside a Claude session.

Step 1

Register the server

Run:

claude mcp add --transport http bridge https://api.bridge-ai.social/api/v1/mcp
Step 2

Check the connection

Run claude mcp list. Bridge shows "Needs authentication" until you sign in.

Step 3

Start claude, run /mcp, select "bridge", and choose Authenticate. Your browser opens to Bridge's sign-in page. Approve the consent screen there, and Claude Code shows Bridge as connected.

What Claude can see

The consent screen you approve controls exactly this. Personal Notes and write access never widen later without you reconnecting.

Read access, by default

Every approved connection gets the read capabilities listed below: contacts, activity, deals, pipelines, transfers, and forwarded emails.

Personal Notes stays off by default

Turn on Personal Notes in the consent screen if you want Claude to see emails, phone numbers, and notes too. While it is off, Bridge redacts that data before Claude ever receives it.

Writes are a separate, limited opt-in

Letting Claude log activity, set reminders, or update a contact is a separate write scope, currently limited to approved beta accounts. Reading is what most connections get today.

What Claude can do

These are the tools Claude reaches for once Bridge is connected.

bridge_inbox_list_forwards

Try asking

Ask Claude in plain language once Bridge is connected.

"Who do I know at Northwind Capital?"
"When did I last talk to Priya Natarajan?"
"What is the latest with the founders I met last week?"
"Summarize my investor pipeline"
"Who can intro me to the CTO of Acme?"
"Who was on the Lisbon founder trek I imported?"

Disconnect Bridge

Step 1

Remove the connector in Claude

Go to Settings, then Connectors, find Bridge, and remove it. This revokes the token on Bridge's side immediately, so Claude can no longer call Bridge after this step.
Step 2

Or ask Bridge to disconnect it

Email support@bridge-ai.social and we will revoke the connection from Bridge's side, useful if you cannot reach the Claude client that made it.

Even without disconnecting, access tokens expire on their own after about an hour, and refresh tokens after about 30 days.

Privacy and trust

Every invocation Claude makes through this connector is recorded in Bridge's audit record, including what was called and when. Read the policies that govern it:
